Scholarship online applications are expected to open in January 2027 for awards to be used the Fall 2027 academic term. Check back in November 2026 for more eligibility requirements, application instructions and to complete the online application. See below for complete timeline.

Scholarship Awards

At Shared Tomorrows Community Foundation, we believe education creates opportunity and strengthens communities. Our scholarship program is designed to support students pursuing higher education, career training, and lifelong learning.

Scholarship funds are generally paid directly to the recipient’s accredited college, university, trade school, technical school, or other eligible educational institution. Awards are intended to support qualified educational expenses, including tuition, fees, books, and required course materials.

Scholarship awards may range from $1,000 to $5,000, depending on available funding and the criteria established for each scholarship program. Award amounts, payment schedules, and eligibility requirements may vary.

Scholarship opportunities are made possible through the generosity of donors and community partners who share our commitment to expanding educational opportunities for Michigan students.

Scholarship Criteria

Scholarships are available to Michigan students pursuing education at an accredited college, university, community college, trade school, technical school, or vocational program.

Applicants will be evaluated based on academic achievement, leadership, community involvement, personal character, educational and career goals, and the quality and completeness of their application. Scholarship recipients are selected through a fair and objective review process.

    • Applications Open: January 2027
    • Application Deadline: March 31, 2027
    • Application Review Period: April 2027
    • Recipients Notified: May 2027
    • Funds Disbursed: July–August 2027 (after enrollment verification)
